2014 was a revolutionary year for global motorsport and driver development, marking the birth of the Formula 4 category. From day one, Tatuus played a leading role in this transformation with the introduction of the T-014.
Initially adopted by the Italian F4 Championship, the only series to debut in the category’s inaugural season, the car quickly gained global recognition as new national series emerged. Germany, Northern Europe, Spain, the United Arab Emirates: year after year, new championships embraced the T-014, bringing production numbers close to 300 units. A milestone later surpassed in 2024 by its successor, the second-generation Formula 4, the T-421.
An icon forever etched in Tatuus history, the T-014 became the starting point for some of the most talented drivers in motorsport. From the first Italian F4 champion, Lance Stroll, to future Formula 1 Grand Prix winners like Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, as well as Guanyu Zhou, Mick Schumacher, Franco Colapinto, and Andrea Kimi Antonelli.
