From Montmelò to the Guia Circuit, Tatuus machines headline a decisive and historic racing weekend.


Macau Grand Prix

The Guia Circuit hosts the 72nd Macau Grand Prix, one of the most iconic events on the international racing calendar. This edition marks a special moment for Tatuus, as the first-generation T-318 chassis powered by ATM-Alfa Romeo make their final competitive appearance in the FIA Formula Regional World Cup.

Following Thursday’s opening qualifying session, Qualifying 2 will take place on Friday, with the Qualification Race scheduled for Saturday at 16:15 CST. The main race is set for Sunday at 15:30 CST, when a new Formula Regional world champion will take the T-318 to its last chequered flag.

The entire weekend promises an atmosphere rich in heritage and emotion, as Macao once again celebrates its unique blend of street racing tradition and international prestige.



Eurocup-3

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya hosts the season finale of the Eurocup-3 Championship. Series champion Mattia Colnaghi will be absent, competing at Macao, and MP Motorsport has called up rookie Lorenzo Campos, who previously raced in the Spanish F4 Championship.

Race 1 will start on Saturday at 15:40 (CEST), with the final round taking place on Sunday at 14:40. Both races will be streamed live on the official Eurocup-3 YouTube channel, wrapping up a season that has served as an important development platform for young drivers.



F4 Spain

The Spanish Formula 4 Championship also reaches its conclusion at Montmelò. Thomas Strauven (Campos Racing) has already secured the 2025 title with five races to spare, confirming his dominance throughout the season. Behind him, the battle for second remains open between René Lammers and Ean Eyckmans, both representing MP Motorsport. Lammers currently holds 220 points, while Eyckmans follows with 195.

The Catalan weekend begins on Saturday, 15 November at 16:00 (CET) with the first race. The final two races will take place on Sunday, 16 November, the morning session at 11:00 and the concluding race at 15:00, bringing to a close a season defined by Strauven’s consistency and skill.



F4 Saudi

After completing its third round earlier in the week, the Saudi F4 Championship returns to action for its fourth and penultimate event of the season. Kit Belofsky (Peax Racing) leads the standings with 103 points, chased by Scott Lindblom (Red Bull) and Adam Al Azhari (Valvoline), both tied at 92.

The three scheduled races will be broadcast live on the championship’s official channel, as the battle for the top intensifies in the build-up to the season finale.

From the Formula Regional Middle East Trophy to the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy, via UAE4 and Formula Winter Series, winter championships are back on track


Formula Regional Middle East Trophy The Formula Regional Middle East Trophy returns to Yas Marina for the second and final round held at the Abu Dhabi venue, ahead of the move to Dubai for Round 3. The weekend will see the new Tatuus T-326 back on track following their competitive debut last week.
The first race is scheduled for Saturday at 14:55 local time. Sunday will feature a double-header, with Race 2 starting at 11:05 and Race 3 at 15:30, both in local time. All races and qualifying sessions will be broadcast live on the championship’s official YouTube channel.

UAE4
The UAE4 championship also heads back to Yas Marina for the second round of the season. A large and highly competitive grid is set to take the start once again, underlining the depth of talent present in the series.
The weekend action begins on Saturday with Race 1 at 13:30 local time. On Sunday, Race 2 will start at 9:45, followed by Race 3 at 14:15. All races and qualifying sessions will be streamed live on the series’ YouTube channel.

Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy
The CT-FROT heads to Teretonga for the third round of the season, marking the penultimate event of the championship.
Qualifying will take place on Friday, while the four races of the round will be held over the weekend. Saturday’s action begins with Race 1 at 13:02 local time, followed by Race 2 at 14:06. Sunday will host the final two races: Race 3 is scheduled for 12:47, before the weekend concludes with the Spirit of a Nation Trophy at 4:26 local time. All races and qualifying sessions will be streamed live on Toyota GAZOO Racing New Zealand’s YouTube channel.

Formula Winter Series
The Formula Winter Series continues its season at the Estoril circuit, with a strong field of 31 drivers set to compete. Unusually cold and wet weather conditions are expected to play a role over the weekend, adding another variable to the on-track action
Race 1 will take place on Saturday at 13:15, while Sunday will feature Race 2 at 11:40 and the final race of the weekend at 15:30. Both Saturday and Sunday will be covered live on the series’ official YouTube channel.

32 cars on track in the stunning Abu Dhabi setting as a new era of Formula Regional racing begins with the new Tatuus single-seater

The sun, breathtaking sunsets and iconic night lights of Yas Marina provided the perfect stage for the long-awaited competitive debut of the new Tatuus T-326. Following the rollout of the first prototype on August 1st, 2025, last weekend marked the first official race outing for the new-generation Formula Regional car, with 32 single-seaters (three for each of the 11 teams) battling on the Abu Dhabi circuit.
The race weekend was only the highlight of an intense week of preparation and testing, during which teams completed the very first competitive kilometres with their cars. Throughout the process, they were supported trackside by the Korus group structure, with more than 20 Tatuus and ATM engineers and technicians on site to provide full operational and technical support, including car management and spare parts logistics.

Testing: the first kilometres for the new Formula Regional generation
Tuesday, January 13th marked the true on-track debut of the Tatuus T-326, as all 32 cars began accumulating mileage and allowing teams and drivers to familiarise themselves with the many technical innovations introduced with the new Formula Regional generation.
Lap times immediately highlighted a clear step forward compared to the previous T-318 benchmark, with Taito Kato (ART Grand Prix) setting the fastest time at 1:48.053. Overall, the field showed extremely close gaps , underlining the high level of competitiveness.
Four test sessions were held on Tuesday, followed by four more on Wednesday, January 14th. Thursday was then dedicated to data analysis and preparation ahead of the first official race weekend for the new car.

Free practice and qualifying
Friday’s free practice sessions officially opened the race weekend, with Christian Ho (MP Motorsport) and Alex Powell (Pinnacle) topping the timesheets in the first and second sessions respectively. Powell then confirmed his strong pace during Saturday morning practice, ahead of Kabir Anurag (ART) and Maksimilian Popov (Trident) .
Saturday afternoon saw tension rise with the double qualifying session, which awarded pole positions to Alexander Abkhazava (MP Motorsport) and local hero Rashid Al Dhaheri (Yas Heat – R-ace GP) . Al Dhaheri also secured the fastest overall qualifying time (1:48.148), earning pole position for Race 3 and a front-row start for Race 1 alongside Abkhazava.

The races
Under the warm glow of Saturday’s sunset, the grid formed for the first race of the new Formula Regional era , which got underway at 17:55. Thirty-one minutes later, it was Alexander Abkhazava who crossed the finish line first under the floodlights of Yas Marina, converting pole position into victory while holding off Rashid Al Dhaheri , who finished just 0.443 seconds behind. Completing the podium was the top rookie, Maksimilian Popov (Trident). The trophies were presented by Tatuus President Gianfranco De Bellis .
Sunday’s daytime races proved far more eventful, with multiple incidents leading to Safety Car periods and red flags.
Race 2, featuring a reversed grid, was won by another MP Motorsport driver, Christian Ho . He was joined on the podium by Miguel Costa (RPM) and Alex Ninovic (Rodin Motorsport) .
Race 3 saw Rashid Al Dhaheri complete an almost perfect weekend. After Saturday’s strong performances, the Abu Dhabi-born driver maintained his pace, defended confidently and stayed focused through multiple interruptions to claim victory and take the provisional championship lead — a result that will remain a defining moment for both the young driver and the Formula Regional Middle East Trophy.

Looking ahead
Following a highly successful opening round, attention now turns immediately to preparation for the next event.
The Tatuus T-326 will return to action this weekend (January 23–25) , once again at the Yas Marina Circuit, for Round 2 of the four-round Formula Regional Middle East Trophy 2026.

The FR Middle East Trophy 2026 will mark the first official race appearance of the new Tatuus Formula Regional car

After its official launch last summer and an extensive testing programme across Europe, the new Tatuus T-326 is now ready to take its first competitive steps. The car will make its racing debut at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi , during the opening round of the Formula Regional Middle East Trophy 2026, one of the most prestigious winter series in single-seater racing.
The Middle East Trophy traditionally opens the Formula Regional season and has become a key reference point for teams, drivers and manufacturers alike. Competing on world-class circuits in the Middle East, the championship has hosted some of the most exciting young talents of recent years, including Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Isack Hadjar, Guanyu Zhou, Oliver Bearman, Gabriel Bortoleto and Arvid Lindblad.

The 2026 calendar
The on-track action began with official pre-season collective tests, which started on Tuesday 13 January at Yas Marina, just days before the first race weekend scheduled from 16 to 18 January. The Formula Regional Middle East Trophy 2026 will feature four rounds across the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, taking place at some of the most iconic venues in modern motorsport.

Top-tier talents ready to battle in the final dance of the first generation of Tatuus Formula Regional cars

The Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Trophy once again opens the international single-seater season featuring Tatuus single seaters and confirming its status as a traditional and prestigious starting point for open-wheel racing. Renowned for the exceptionally high level of its participants and for having shaped an impressive number of future Formula 1 drivers over the years, the 2026 edition of the championship features a truly stellar entry list, with outstanding talents arriving from all over the world.
Among the most high-profile names is two-time World Rally Champion Kalle Rovanperä , who will make his debut in single-seater racing aboard the FT-60-model of the Tatuus T-318. The Finnish star will take on the spectacular New Zealand circuits alongside some of the most promising drivers from the Formula Regional and Formula 3 landscape, including Freddie Slater, Louis Sharp, Ugo Ugochukwu, Ernesto Rivera, James Wharton, Jin Nakamura, Kanato Le, Fionn McLaughlin and Yvan David .
As in previous years, the CT-FROT 2026 is once again impeccably organised by Toyota Gazoo Racing New Zealand and will represent the final major chapter for the first generation of Tatuus Formula Regional cars . Since 2006, these cars have played a key role in launching the careers of extraordinary talents. It is worth recalling that the reigning Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris competed in the New Zealand championship in 2016, following in the footsteps of drivers such as Yuki Tsunoda, Lance Stroll, Guanyu Zhou, Liam Lawson, Brandon Hartley, Arvid Lindblad and many other leading names from the F1, WEC and IndyCar grids.

The Calendar
Pre-season testing got underway on Thursday 8 January, just a few hours before the first race scheduled for Saturday 10 January. The championship will feature four race weekends in total, running through to 1 February, when the season will conclude with the traditional New Zealand Grand Prix at Highlands Motorsport Park.

FIA Formula Regional European Championship: The new Tatuus T-326 unveiled at Monza

From 2026, the FIA Formula Regional European Championship will adopt the new Tatuus T-326, marking the introduction of the second generation of Formula Regional cars.
Monza, 24 October 2025 At the Temple of Speed in Monza, the brand-new Tatuus T-326 was unveiled. The single-seater that will take centre stage in the FIA Formula Regional European Championship, organized and promoted by ACI, starting from 2026. The result of an intense development effort by Tatuus Racing, the T-326 (subject to FIA homologation) represents the second generation of Formula Regional cars, marking the evolution of the previous T-318, which since 2019 has accompanied the rise of many talented drivers such as Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Gabriel Bortoleto, Isack Hadjar and Franco Colapinto on their path towards the higher echelons of motorsport. Aerodynamics and Performance Developed in full compliance with the latest FIA regulations, the T-326 brings a major step forward in terms of performance, aerodynamics, and safety. The new car has been designed to be lighter, more stable, and more responsive, featuring an improved chassis architecture and a revised suspension system that enhances steering precision and overall balance through corners. Aerodynamic efficiency, inspired by the latest trends from top-level single-seater series, ensures increased overall downforce and reduced wake effect, improving overtaking opportunities and on-track racing quality. From 2026, the Championship will adopt Pirelli tyres as single supplier, fitted on new 15-inch OZ wheels, ensuring technical continuity and uniform performance across the grid. ATM163T Engine: Power, Efficiency and Innovation The T-326 will be powered by the brand-new ATM163T engine, developed by Autotecnica Motori and derived from the Toyota G16E unit. This represents the first three-cylinder engine ever introduced in Formula Regional history, developed in collaboration with TOM’S to deliver high performance combined with improved energy efficiency and reliability. The project fully aligns with the new FIA standards for sustainability and technological innovation.
Safety and Ergonomics at the Core The next-generation chassis complies with the highest FIA safety standards, featuring reinforced structures and updated components such as new-design front and rear crash boxes, anti-intrusion panels, and a revised roll-over protection system. Inside the cockpit, the ergonomic configuration has been optimised to ensure a comfortable driving position suitable for a wide range of drivers, improving visibility, comfort, and overall driving experience. Technical Partnerships The T-326 has been developed in collaboration with a strong network of top-tier motorsport partners: ARS Tech, Giga Composite, Carbonmade and La Compositi for carbon fibre components; Breda Racing, Eibach and Andreani for the suspension system; PFC Brakes and Tilton for the braking system. On-board electronics have been developed in partnership with Marelli, Next Solution and Nope Engineering, while the package is completed by the Sadev SLR-82 gearbox, Sabelt harnesses, OMP safety systems, and components from Galletto and Gieffe, forming a technical platform of absolute excellence. Following an initial testing phase between August and October involving several professional drivers and test specialists, the new Tatuus T-326 is now ready to take to the track. Its official debut in 2026 will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the category, reaffirming its mission to nurture the next generation of international motorsport talents.

Major upgrade package for 2026 GB3 Championship

MotorSport Vision (MSV) will introduce an upgrade package for its Tatuus MSV GB3-025 cars ahead of the 2026 GB3 Championship season to provide both a significant performance boost and even better reliability.
Building on the first year of experience with the new GB3-025 car, MSV and Tatuus has worked closely with all the teams to understand how they would like the championship to evolve to further enhance its appeal.
The upgrade package includes a heavily revised engine, together with refinements to the chassis and aerodynamics. Testing and manufacture of new components is already underway.
The Engine The existing 2 litre 4 cylinder engine will be replaced by a new 2.4 litre Mountune built unit, designed to provide a substantial 25% increase in torque and also optimise reliability. As well as a new forged crankshaft, connecting rods and forged aluminium pistons, the cylinder head is of a completely new design. The current base of a standard OEM cast aluminium head is being replaced by an all-new CNC billet machined head made of high-grade aerospace aluminium. This will also feature new lightweight steel camshafts and the highest specification of valve gear. The new head will also include optimised porting, gas flow and a performance improvement, while the engine installation will be enhanced by a combination of improvements to the cam cover to cylinder head interface, and a revised A-frame setup to improve torsional rigidity.

Aero Kit & Chassis The cars will also benefit from a new aerodynamics package, resulting in efficiency gains, improved aero balance, extra downforce and less drag. Dedicated aerodynamic testing has already commenced with multiple runs at the class-leading Catesby Tunnel facility in Northamptonshire.
Chassis revisions to stiffen the rocker post mounting and stabilise the front deck have been designed and tested by Tatuus and chassis maker ARS, and a new bridge section is to be added inside all chassis over the winter to achieve this. The chassis keel will also be modified to be more resilient to kerb damage, ensuring any resulting repairs are less frequent and longer lasting.
Weight Reduction & Gearbox Weight reduction is also a feature of the upgrade package, with the exhaust, silencer, cooling system and the DRS and gear change components all benefiting from refinements.
Gearbox lubrication will be improved with a pumped oil injection system direct to the gear mesh point. Furthermore, gear life will be extended with improved surface treatment and finishing.
The 2026 prototype car will commence an on-track testing programme later in September and throughout October, during which additional refinements will be evaluated for addition to the upgrade package. [...]

Speaking on Radio Sportiva, CEO Giovanni Delfino touched on several key aspects of Tatuus and the Group’s activities, ranging from its wide array of engineering projects to its commitment to the F1 Academy, and moving on to the safety and the Group’s overall structure.

Engineering and design “Designing a new single-seater is a challenging process that brings great satisfaction. Tatuus operates in a segment with a clear mission: to foster the discovery and development of talent. Designing cars that serve this purpose is complex, because it requires a constant pursuit of the perfect balance, ensuring that every driver can showcase and nurture their skills. The performance of each car and each ATM engine powering them must be identical, allowing drivers to prove themselves and compete solely based on their abilities.
For Tatuus, this is highly stimulating not only in the design phase, but also once the cars hit the track, when the constant analysis of data allows us to follow, step by step, the growth of hundreds of young talents every year. It is a true privilege to see them progress from our single-seaters all the way to the pinnacle of Formula 1. In fact, 19 out of 20 current F1 drivers have raced in one of our cars during their career path.”

F1 Academy "The question often arises: will we see a female driver who grew up in F1 Academy one day driving a Formula 1 car? Many still struggle to imagine this happening today, but 10 years ago, no one could have imagined an Italian tennis player at the top of the world rankings either.
This is not about miracles, but about paths built on hard work: the same hard work the F1 Academy drivers are putting in today. It’s both a technical and physical effort, paired with the natural talent these girls have. And with their immense courage, as shown by the spectacular moves they perform on track.”

Safety in racing “Formula 4 and Formula Regional are categories where drivers gain their first real experience. This brings them to face every situation on track with great enthusiasm and boldness. We see them racing on the world’s most iconic circuits, arriving at legendary and challenging corners with four, five, or even six cars side by side. Clearly, this creates risks – and for us, it means the responsibility of designing the safest possible product. Not by chance, our cars are homologated according to the strictest standards in motorsport, with loads and procedures identical to those required in the top categories.
The desire to stand out can lead to spectacular accidents, but our job is to ensure that, thanks to the quality of our cars, drivers come out of these situations unharmed.”
