The wait is finally over: the GB3 Championship and the all-new MSV-GB3-025 are ready to hit the track!

From the moment the first sketches of the MSV-GB3-025 were drawn, the countdown began. A process that evolved through multiple project stages, accelerating with excitement in October 2024 when the very first car rolled out of the Tatuus HQ. From then on, the wait took on a new form — a countdown to the first official sessions, marked by test days, driver announcements, and livery reveals. Now, just a few steps remain before the anticipation gives way to the thrill of the first qualifying session and the season’s opening three races.

Silverstone will serve as the perfect stage for the new model’s debut this weekend, featuring 25 cars on the grid, a roster of top-tier talent, and many new highlights for the series.

A new DRS challenge

The opening races of the new car will also mark a historic first: the competitive debut of Drag Reduction System (DRS) on a Tatuus single-seater.

During qualifying, drivers will be allowed unlimited DRS use within the permitted zones. In races, however, DRS activation will be restricted to instances when the gap to the car ahead is less than one second, as measured at specific detection points. At Silverstone, those detection zones will be placed at Maggotts and Village, activating DRS on the Hangar and Wellington straights respectively.

10 teams, plenty of talent

Two new teams join an already elite paddock, forming a highly competitive grid set to battle it out on some of Europe’s most iconic circuits.

The calendar

The schedule and venues are another major novelty of the upcoming season. The 2025 GB3 Championship will feature 8 rounds and 24 races: half on Britain’s legendary circuits, the other half on some of Europe’s most prestigious tracks. The grand finale, set for October 18-19 at Autodromo di Monza, promises a unique and symbolic close to the season.

Here are all the 2025 dates:

26-27 Aprile: Silverstone

17-18 Maggio: Zandvoort

31 Maggio - 1 Giugno: Spa Francorchamps

5-6 Luglio: Hungaroring

2-3 Agosto: Silverstone

23-24 Agosto: Brands Hatch

4-5 Ottobre: Donington Park

18-19 Ottobre: Monza

Weekend Format

Each race weekend will begin with testing or free practice, followed by a qualifying session split into two 15-minute segments, separated by a 5-minute break. These will determine the grids for Race 1 and Race 2 respectively. Race 3 will once again feature the popular reverse-grid format: the top 12 from Qualifying 2 will be reversed, while positions 13 onward remain unchanged.

All three races will run for 25 minutes.

The Prizes

The top five drivers in the final championship standings will receive FIA Super Licence points — with 10 points going to the champion.

The Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup returns once again: every pole will earn £300, with an additional £2,000 and a trophy awarded to the driver with the most poles over the season.

Finally, the Omologato "One to Watch Award" will reward the driver who scores the most points across Races 1 and 2 each weekend.

How to follow the Silverstone weekend

The Silverstone races – and indeed all races throughout the season – will be streamed live on MotorSport Vision’s YouTube channel: MSV TV.

Over the course of the weekend, the same channel will also broadcast the races from the second round of the GB4 Championship, which will also be on track at Silverstone.

6 championships and 148 cars on track for another intense Tatuus weekend
6 championships and 148 cars on track for another intense Tatuus weekend

From Sydney to iconic European circuits such as Silverstone and Spa: Tatuus single-seaters take center stage

A new racing weekend is underway across circuits around the globe, and for Tatuus single-seaters, the busiest period of the season shows no signs of slowing down. Just five days after the record-breaking weekend for the number of cars on track, another 148 Tatuus formula cars are set to battle it out, driven by an equal number of future stars, on some of the most prestigious and beloved venues in world motorsport. From Spa-Francorchamps and Silverstone all the way to Sydney, four different Tatuus models will once again take center stage.

FIA FREC Barely enough time to switch off the engines at Zandvoort, and the FIA Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is already back in action at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
Championship leader Sebastian Wheldon (MP Motorsport) arrives in Belgium riding the momentum of a dominant double victory at Zandvoort. Chasing him are Reno Francot (CL Motorsport), 12 points adrift, and Rashid Al Dhaheri (R-ace GP, running under the Yas Heat banner), who trails by 22 points.
The weekend has already kicked off with Friday’s free practice sessions, but the action will intensify with Saturday morning qualifying (10:05 local time) followed by Race 1 in the afternoon (14:15 local time). Sunday will mirror the schedule, with qualifying at 09:55 and the second and final race at 14:20.
All qualifying sessions and races will be streamed live on the championship’s YouTube channel .

GB3 Championship Sharing the Spa paddock with the FIA FREC T-326 cars are the MSV-GB3-025 machines competing in the GB3 Championship.
Three races are scheduled, with Nikita Bedrin (VRD Racing) looking to defend the championship lead he consolidated at Silverstone against the challenges of Maxim Rehm (Rodin Motorsport), Jin Nakamura (Hitech TGR), and the rest of the chasing pack.
Friday already featured qualifying, but Saturday promises to be the key day, with Race 1 at 10:55 and Race 2 at 15:50 local time. The third and final race will take place on Sunday at 11:30.
All races will be broadcast live on Motorsport Vision’s official YouTube channel .

British F4 It is another back-to-back event for the 32-car British F4 grid, as the paddock has moved from Snetterton to Silverstone in just a few days. The home of British motorsport remains one of the most iconic and beloved circuits among drivers.
The championship battle also resumes between points leader Dries Van Langendonck (Rodin Motorsport) and Lewis Wherrell (JHR Developments), who claimed two victories during last weekend’s event.
Following testing and free practice sessions, qualifying is scheduled for Saturday at 11:00. Race 1 will start at 13:55, while Sunday’s programme features Race 2 at 10:10 and Race 3 at 15:15 local time.
All races will be streamed live on the championship’s YouTube channel .

F4 CEZ The Formula 4 CEZ Championship returns to Salzburgring for the third time, and this weekend it will feature the largest grid among all Tatuus-powered series, with 40 T-421 cars entered.
David Walther (Maffi Racing) will aim to defend the slim championship lead he established during the opening round against Elia Weiss (Jenzer Motorsport) and teammate Max Karhan.
Friday’s schedule was dedicated to testing and free practice, but serious business begins on Saturday with Qualifying 1 at 08:00, followed later in the morning by Qualifying 2. Race 1 will start at 15:50 on Saturday, while Sunday will feature Race 2 (09:00), Race 3 (12:25), and Race 4 (16:20).
All official sessions will be streamed live on the championship’s YouTube channel .

AU4 The Australian series also returns for its second round of the season, featuring both first-generation and second-generation Formula 4 cars on the same grid.
In the T-421 class, Jensen Marold and Marco Manson currently occupy first and second place in the standings after sharing the three victories available during the opening round.
Friday testing has already concluded, and attention now turns to qualifying (11:00 local time) and Race 1 (14:45 local time). The weekend will conclude on Sunday with Race 2 at 10:35 and Race 3 at 14:20 local time.

Ultimate Cup Series - Hoosier Cup The Hoosier Formula Cup, the single-seater category of the Ultimate Cup Series, returns to Magny-Cours for its second round of the season.
The T-318 once again takes center stage, along with championship leader Stepan Suslov (Winfield Racing), winner of all three races during the opening round, and his closest rival and teammate Martin Stoyanov, who finished runner-up in each race of the season opener.
Official sessions are already underway, with Race 1 scheduled for Friday afternoon, followed by Race 2 at 18:45. Race 3 will take place on Saturday at 11:50.

"It is no coincidence that the world turns to Italy to find quality in motorsport."
"It is no coincidence that the world turns to Italy to find quality in motorsport."

CEO Giovanni Delfino’s remarks at the Motor Valley Fest 2026
Motorsport is experiencing a period of strong vitality. Not only because of the results that continue to bring Italy back to the center of international competitions, but also because of the strength of an entire industrial system capable of transforming research, technology, and development into a competitive advantage recognized worldwide. These are some of the topics analyzed by Giovanni Delfino (CEO of the Korus Group and Tatuus) , starting from the concept of collaboration among different but complementary excellences.

A growing movement and an increasingly widespread demand for motorsport. “What we are experiencing is a demand for motorsport that is difficult to measure, but we are helped by some significant numbers, such as the 500 T-421 units recently celebrated by Tatuus and the 300 first-generation Formula 4 cars, along with all the other categories we supply. We are talking about a healthy movement that is clearly perceptible also in karting, where at every race we see hundreds of children showing determination and a strong desire to get into karts and compete. Today our priority is to continue producing and offering products to help these young drivers grow, so that they can eventually reach the top level of hypercars, F1, and IndyCar, with the awareness that it is not an easy or inexpensive path, but one to which we dedicate ourselves every day.”

The technological and industrial challenge of junior and entry categories. “Italian mechatronics is a benchmark and a point of reference. We produce and sell cars while respecting extremely strict price caps, with safety standards that must be guaranteed to young drivers racing at a very high competitive level. The effort is significant, but so is the satisfaction in seeing these results on track.”

Motorsport as an ecosystem of industrial collaboration. “The panel is called The Future of Racing and if I were asked what it means, fully understanding the depth of this title would require endless reasoning. But then I look around and I am joined in this panel by Pirelli, Marelli, Sabelt, and Ferrari, with whom we will be rivals in WEC but always friends. Many of them also collaborate on the T-421 project, which in itself is highly representative of what the future of racing stands for. I always recall with pleasure how we are on excellent terms with Dallara, with whom we share, without overlap, a specific area of activity such as the motorsport pyramid, which today represents an almost entirely Italian market.”

The role of Italy in motorsport “There are many OEMs that choose to work alongside Italian elite companies to develop their products, and this clearly demonstrates how strong Italy’s importance in motorsport is. It is no coincidence that from all over the world people look to Italy to find quality. For us, reaching a level of collaboration such as the one with McLaren has been an important step up; working with a manufacturer of this prestige is undoubtedly a source of pride and of absolute significance.”
Panel participants The panel held in Modena at the San Paolo complex featured representatives from several national and international motorsport organizations:
Marco Palmerini (MotoGP Vehicle Development Manager, Ducati) Lara Rodini (Global Sponsorships & Activation Director, Lenovo) Philippe Tramonde (Technical Director Motorsport, Michelin) Massimiliano Ortalli (VP, Market Unit Director, Automotive, Life Science, Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defence, Capgemini) Massimiliano Marsiaj (Executive Vice President, Sabelt S.p.A.) Riccardo De Filippi (CEO Motorsport, Marelli) Dario Marrafuschi (Head of Motorsport, Pirelli) Antonello Coletta (Ferrari) Vincent Biard (Head of Maserati Corse) Franco Cevolini (CEO, CRP Group) Alessandro Tucci (Executive Director Head of House of Grand Challenges, Aspire) Luca Ciancetti (Technical Director, Podium Advanced Technologies)

Tatuus Celebrates the 500th T-421, the World’s Most Widely Used Formula 4 Car
Tatuus Celebrates the 500th T-421, the World’s Most Widely Used Formula 4 Car

The Lainate-based manufacturer has celebrated the production and delivery of the 500th chassis of the single-seater on which Kimi Antonelli and Arvid Lindblad developed their careers.

Born in 2021, the Tatuus T-421 reached its 500th unit produced and delivered in May 2026, once again confirming its status as one of the most manufactured and successful racing single-seaters worldwide. The milestone was celebrated by the Lainate-based brand together with all its employees and the sister companies of the Korus group, which contribute daily to the T-421 project: ATM–Autotecnica Motori, Breda Racing, and Next Solution Technologies.
Today, the T-421 is the most widely used Formula 4 car in the world, competing across 16 championships spanning Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania. Behind its wheel, some of the most exciting talents in contemporary motorsport have developed, including Kimi Antonelli and Arvid Lindblad , who built the first steps of their single-seater careers in the second-generation Tatuus F4 before progressing all the way to the pinnacle of Formula 1.
“The 500th T-421 is not only a major milestone for Tatuus, but also an important achievement for the entire international motorsport ecosystem,” said Giovanni Delfino, CEO of Tatuus and the Korus Group. “With the introduction of Formula 4 in 2014, the FIA created a new pathway between karting and single-seaters, enabling drivers to arrive better prepared for higher categories. This model has established itself through years of significant growth in motorsport, during which many championships were launched and expanded, now reaching grids of nearly 50 cars per round with the second generation we celebrate today. These are figures that were difficult to imagine at the beginning of this journey, but which now define the everyday reality of many of the companies within the Korus Group.”
“Throughout Tatuus’ history, many of our models have achieved widespread adoption across global championships and have demonstrated unparalleled driver development capabilities,” added Gianfranco De Bellis, President of Tatuus and the Korus group. “The T-421 is writing an important chapter in the history of our brand and, together with the first-generation car, is now approaching 800 units produced. These volumes allow us to aim toward the milestone of 1,000 F4 single-seaters, a figure previously approached by the various Formula Renault models that marked a turning point in our history and in the development path of many drivers.”
As the second generation of Formula 4 single-seaters, the T-421 succeeded the T-014, which from 2014—the year Formula 4 was introduced—through 2021 was produced in just under 300 units. It represented the ideal platform for drivers transitioning from karting to single-seaters, and helped develop talents such as Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Max Verstappen, Isack Hadjar, Liam Lawson, Lance Stroll, Oliver Bearman, Gabriel Bortoleto, and Franco Colapinto.
The T-421 is just one of many examples of the cooperation that makes the Korus group one of the leading global ecosystems in motorsport engineering. The companies within the Group involved in the celebration have contributed to the project from day one, within a consolidated model of synergies that each year gives rise to new cars, powertrains, and solutions for motorsport.
Specifically, ATM–Autotecnica Motori developed and supplies the Abarth-derived inline four-cylinder engine that powers the car, while Breda Racing is responsible for a large portion of the components—such as the halo and suspension arms—as well as instrumentation required for managing the cars both on track and at HQ. Next Solution Technologies provides a significant part of the car’s electronic and electromechanical systems, in addition to supplying steering wheels and rain lights.
However, the milestone of 500 cars does not represent a finishing point for Tatuus. Production of the current model will continue through 2028 , when FIA regulations foresee the introduction of the third-generation car , on which the brands of the Korus Group are already actively working.

The collaboration between Tatuus and TGRNZ continues: from 2027, the T-326 will join the grid in the CT FROT.

The new generation of Formula Regional also arrives in the Oceania racing landscape.
The Formula Regional supply landscape under Tatuus continues to expand, with Oceania set to adopt the new-generation T-326 . This move completes and strengthens the global transition to the Gen 2 car, consolidating a unified technical pathway at international level. TOYOTA GAZOO Racing New Zealand has confirmed that the Castrol Toyota FR Oceania Trophy will adopt a new second-generation Formula Regional car starting from 2027, marking a key step in the evolution of the championship and in its role within the international single-seater ladder. The series will replace its current fleet of Toyota FT-60 cars, in use since 2020, with a new package based on the Tatuus T-326 chassis. The project continues the long-standing collaboration between TGRNZ and Tatuus, confirming a shared commitment to developing drivers, performance and technology through motorsport. The new car is aligned with FIA Formula Regional Gen 2 standards and is powered by an evolution of the 2.0-litre turbocharged 8AR-FTS engine already used in the championship. The unit delivers approximately 280 horsepower, combining performance, efficiency and reliability. The overall package meets the latest targets in terms of performance, efficiency and sustainability, while keeping driver development at its core. The push-to-pass system, introduced in 2026, remains an integral part of the car, further enhancing race dynamics. Pirelli continues as the official tyre supplier in line with international Formula Regional regulations.
