May has always represented one of the most important periods of the motorsport season in the United States. At some of the world’s most iconic circuits, teams and drivers enter the most intense phase of their respective championships, in a period that often becomes a decisive turning point of the year.
This is true for the IndyCar Series, which is preparing for the iconic 500 Miles of Indianapolis, and it is equally true for the USF Pro Championships, which represent one of the most important development pathways for young single-seater talent in American motorsport. Within this context, Tatuus has supported the series since 2017 through the supply of the cars used across the championships. A commitment that over the years has helped build a highly competitive environment focused on safety, performance and driver development.
Last weekend, the spotlight turned to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Tatuus Indianapolis Grand Prix, an event that once again highlighted the strong relationship between Tatuus and Andersen Promotions. On the Speedway’s infield road course, the USF Pro Championships delivered an exciting weekend, shaped by variable conditions, close racing and constant battles for top positions.
From the Tatuus IP-20 used in USF Pro 2000 to the Tatuus USF-22 competing in USF2000, the single-seaters developed by Tatuus once again confirmed their role as ideal platforms for driver development, and now prepare to take part in another iconic event on the calendar.
For both categories, the “Month of May” continues with the only oval event of the season, the Carb Night Classic at the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. The traditional Friday night race ahead of the 500 Miles of Indianapolis stands as one of the most iconic short oval events in American motorsport, offering drivers another valuable step in their development journey, culminating in the two main events: the Freedom 75 (USF2000) and the Freedom 90 (USF Pro 2000).
The Road to Indy May schedule is not limited to Indianapolis. The USF Juniors series, which does not compete on oval tracks, will race this weekend in Canada with the Tatuus JR-23 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Across its long-standing commitment in North America, Tatuus continues to provide platforms designed to combine reliability, safety, performance consistency and cost control, supporting teams and drivers in highly competitive environments. A commitment that goes beyond supplying race cars and reflects a long-term vision dedicated to the development of future generations of motorsport talent.
A journey that includes work behind the scenes, but also iconic events such as the Indy GP and the Carb Night Classic, which each year showcase the passion that defines the USF Pro Championships.
